Hey everyone, we’re back for Year Two! Okashicon is returning to San Japan in 2025! 🎉

We’re so excited to bring another year of J-Fashion magic to San Japan! Expect even more fabulous programming: Designer Showcases, Make & Take workshops, the Fashion Show, and our signature J-Fashion Mixer/Tea Party! ☕✨

Wait, so did San Japan take over Okashicon?
Not at all! Okashicon is still independently run as a non-profit. We’re proud to continue hosting pop-up tea parties, markets, fundraisers, and community workshops throughout Texas.

Will there be a standalone Okashicon event this year?
Nope, not this year. We’ve chosen to focus all our efforts on making Okashicon at San Japan the best experience it can be. With the rising costs of hosting in Austin, combining forces with San Japan allows us to keep bringing you the fashion-focused content you love, just on a bigger stage.

So how do you attend?
Simple! Just grab a San Japan badge, and you’ll get access to all the Okashicon programming included!

``Last year was my first year at Okashicon as an artist, but I'll definitely be back! The atmosphere was fun and positive. The volunteers checked up on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. After working my table for the day, I had the best time hanging out in the game room and maid cafe. There's really something for everyone at Okashicon!``
